WORDRUNNER SEEKS SUBMISSIONS FOR ONLINE FICTION CHAPBOOK!
Wordrunner e-Chapbooks publishes online collections of fiction and memoir, featuring one author,
as well as an annual themed anthology. No fee to submit.
Stories may be flash or longer, from 750 up to 4,000 words each, totaling a minimum of approximately 8,000 and a maximum of 18,000 words for the collection. At least five stories, but no more than 20 (if flash fiction). These stories should belong together for some reason, be it theme, location or people, though they need not be linked. Each story should stand on its own and have its own arc. Also accepting memoir collections on a rolling basis until the end of 2014.

AMERICAN SHORT FICTION CONTEST OPENS!
$20 entry fee. Entries must be single, self-contained works of fiction, between 2,000 and 6,500 words. Multiple entries accepted but only previously unpublished work.
Simultaneous submissions also accepted but ASF must be notified if publication occurs elsewhere. Winners announced in August.
